Visiting The Met...again

It never gets old, to visit The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. During my most recent visit, I gazed upon the Dutch painter Vermeer's YOUNG WOMAN WITH A WATER JUG AT THE WINDOW.

Beautiful, soothing, wonderous and painted in the mid 1660's! Yes, over 300 years old!

So inspirational, I never tire of looking at the Dutch masters of light. I learn something every time.
