March for Science NYC

Earth Day March for Science in New York City. The march started on Central Park West Street, right in front of one of the Trump buildings. There were so many clever signs and wonderful posters! Here are a couple of my favorites!

Matisse and Diebenkorn Show

Sleeping Woman by Richard Diebenkorn 1961 One of his rarely seen figurative art works on display at the San Francisco MoMA. Loved this show! It's a beautiful pairing of two great masters. Diebenkorn stated many times that he was greatly influenced by the French painter Henri Matisse. Although they never met in person, Matisse's style had a profound effect on Diebenkorn as a young art student at Stanford University. Go see this very large show! 100 paintings by the two artists. Runs through May 29, 2017 at: SF MoMA 151 Third Street S.F., CA
